My shiatsu sessions provide a deeply restorative experience where the focus is on listening to your body’s needs. Through a combination of gentle to firm pressure, stretching, and energy work, I work with you to help release tension, improve mobility, and restore balance. Each session is tailored to you, a conversation with your body as to where you may be holding stress or discomfort and responding accordingly. Whether you're seeking relief from pain, looking to relax, or wanting to reconnect with your body, a Shiatsu session offers a nurturing space for healing and renewal. You’ll leave feeling more centered, grounded, and at ease, with a greater sense of harmony within yourself.
acupressure (60 min)
An acupressure session is a gentle yet powerful way to encourage your body’s natural healing abilities. Using targeted finger pressure on specific points along the body’s energy pathways, or meridians, I work with you to release blockages and restore the flow of energy. This non-invasive therapy can help reduce stress, ease pain, improve sleep, and support emotional balance. Each session is personalized to address your unique concerns, whether physical or emotional. Through a calm and nurturing approach, I help you tap into your body’s own wisdom, allowing you to feel more relaxed, refreshed, and aligned. It’s a holistic way to restore your body’s natural state of balance and vitality.
prenatal massage (75 min)
Prenatal massage provides an opportunity for expectant mothers to connect with their changing bodies and the life growing within them, fostering a deeper sense of connection and mindfulness and alleviating discomfort. compassionate & skillful touch: classes and workshops for individuals and couples
Would you like to feel confident in your touch? Would you like to have tools and practical skills such that you can provide nurturing, compassionate, satisfying and engaged contact with another person or yourself? Are you experiencing difficulty in your partnership because of different expectations or touch histories? Are you feeling clumsy or uncertain? Or maybe you would like some routines and exercises for self care and self healing.
Touch is a fundamental sense but one that we do not often prioritize cultivating. These lessons will be tailored to you to give you specific tools and fundamentals of technique including: listening touch, pressure gauging, body alignment, breath support. My goal is for you to come away with confidence and a sense of delight in how much fun it is to be empowered in the art of touch.
These can be arranged for individuals, couples, or groups and can take place in person or on zoom.
